Getting Asked Questions: A Mindful Inquiry into Patience

Recently my husband and I got into a couple of quibbles when I needed help and felt that he was asking too many unnecessary questions. I was in a bind and I needed his assistance, why did he have to understand everything that was happening? Or this morning when I was making eggs hurriedly in between errands and he asked if I was going to put any spices in. I just have to get things done, I don’t have time for questions, for elaborating…

Then I remembered that kids ALWAYS ask questions, and then follow up questions, and follow up questions to that, and I realized I REALLY need to practice more PATIENCE. For my husband’s sake, for my kids’ sake, and for my own health!
