As I said in my previous post, my father is my role model for how I approach my patients/clients/anyone whom I am serving professionally. There are other strategies he taught me as well. As eerie and sad as it might sound, after he passed away, we had a huge pile of templates he had prepared for future patient visits. My father taught me that if you can do something now, do it! Why wait? As he would say, “Make haste in due time!”
This approach helped me in college with my assignments and studying for tests. It also helped keep me up to date with my documentation as a hospital clinic dietitian, as well as in my private practice work. It even helps me keep up with my writing and blogging. And now, another area: in my role as an early childhood educator.
