My mom and brother visited from out of town so my mom wanted to take a family portrait with all of us (mom, brother, husband, daughter and me). The only time we were all together was Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon I was off to a teacher training to kick off the new school year and my mom was off to the airport.
Things were going to be rushed. The anticipation of having so much happening back to back stressed me out.
But it turned out to be well worth it. Granted after my 3-hour afternoon training, I was spent.
But I am glad that we took the time out to capture this moment in time. And it was a more peaceful and playful experience than I thought it would be.
