Holding each other in our arms
The world feels safe
Our hearts glow
In the warmth
Of love, of hope
Apart the universe is chaotic
Together we can take on anything
Holding each other in our arms
And then—
Back to bed
Until—
The shrill tones of the alarm
It’s time for school
