Mornings are challenging for me. As I wake up, I often have a rush of creativity, and always a rush of productivity (one form of creativity). I can review a lot of emails, type up lots of documentation, and often write up my blogs (my favorite early morning activity aside from yoga). And then of course, there is yoga—I love stretching and strengthening to music (or just the rhythm of my breath) in the morning.
But amidst all this, whenever I hear my daughter wake up—it’s time to put all that aside. (Well, sometimes I get my hubby to watch her so I can finish yoga!).
Even before I had a child, or even a husband, early mornings were often a challenge for me. A desire to express the thoughts in my soul—balanced with the need to get ready and get to my workplace!
