Looking at my preschool students and my own kid in school this morning, I thought about how these cutie patooties don’t know what’s flying right now. The pandemic, the economic crisis.
When we do safety drills in the preschool one of the jobs of teachers, along with following protocols, is keeping morale high. We sing to the kids, sometimes make it into a game. We don’t want them to be scared.
What we all need right now is a preschool teacher. Someone to sing to us, allay our fears, to reassure us that everything is going to be ok!
