There is a long-time misunderstanding that being a stay-at-home mom is not working. Well, it surely is! Taking care of a child is HARD work. I’ve learned this since my daughter is 15-months-old, as well as I work with babies and toddlers on a daily basis at a local preschool.
Even people who can afford to stay at home with their child/ren often get a nanny or send them to child care—even if only for a few hours a day—so they can get things done! Maybe even relax and regain a modicum of sanity?!
