Pushing my toddler daughter in that classic red toy car a few months ago, led me to think about how we are tour guides for our children. We show them the world. Sometimes we can’t see their expressions or reactions as they explore and learn, often we can! (So adorable!) But in all cases, part of our role as parents is to guide our children’s experiences: set up educational opportunities, lead the way with an attitude of optimism.
