Patience IS a Virtue: Professional Development and Personal Growth

I recently started working on a new nutrition website and Instagram page with my friend who has training in coding and digital marketing. She wants to plan Instagram posts ahead of time; organize photos based on themes, etc—something I have always wanted to do, just didn’t have the time or resources available.

I also didn’t have the patience.

I like instant gratification. And I’m not proud of it.

It tripped me up a lot when I was dating in my 20s.

And it makes me anxious all the time, since I expect everything to happen instantaneously (making deep new friendships, having a successful nutrition private practice, etc) when really this kind of stuff can take months, or even years.

I am excited to be working on this project with my friend. It is good for my character development—as well as my professional development!
