Seven years ago I encountered springtime in February in the South. And this summer will mark seven years since I moved here.
I knew I wanted a change. Permission to seek the life I wanted. To try something new that felt more aligned with my true self.
I was married at the time, and we were going to be starting our family. My daughter was born five months after we moved.
Things did not turn out as I expected.
But you know what?
In a way they did.
On a deeper level.
Because I have become more in touch with myself. I have grown. And I have accessed that inner courage and inner knowing that I so wanted to find in moving down here.
