A gentle breeze caresses my now-bare arms
As I’m delighted by the charms
The sun’s warmth rests upon my shoulders
Shining upon me as I stare at the lush greenery set against the bright blue sky
Lower my gaze to the pinks, rouges, and whites
I’m seated but I’m taking flight
Mesmerized and delighting in pleasure
Taking in Earth’s most special treasure
I’ve waited for this all year long
Reveling as the birds chirp and sing the song—
Of spring
