My soul stirs
an aliveness that won’t let me sleep
a literal awakening
a voice that beckons to be heard
as the foundation shifts under me
THEN I was called to move away
NOW I’m called to return
for the space in which my soul feels free
that makes me come alive
is exactly where I’m meant to be
it’s where my truth doth lie
