A mother’s perspective:
All day long:
Washing, and cleaning and laundering.
Scrubbing, and sweeping and mopping.
Cooking, and preparing and serving.
Oh, the tedium of daily life.
Her child watches on silently in the background:
Mother is taking care.
Mother is always there.
Mother is dedicated to her family’s welfare.
Oh, the beautiful rhythms of life.
