Be Calm to BeCome

My whole life I’ve felt like I had to have a strict inner critic in order to succeed. Like a very determined personal trainer in my brain.

From my studies and practices of mindfulness, I’ve learned that this is not the case.

In fact, the opposite is true.

By breathing deeply and centering myself, I thrive much more. I have greater clarity and better succeed at my tasks.

I guess the tortoise was right: slow and steady wins the race!
