express what you don’t dare touch
play with emotions that frighten you too much
I used to see my vulnerability as weakness
But that ain’t so
Now I see my courage in facing the woe
In expressing my pain and fighting for a better future
This is real, not just some couture
I am here, more than ever before
I used to sit quiet, meek
And now I roar
